One last chance for Brody/DWJ Collab

You have until AEW Grand Slam Australia!

Don’t look now, but I think we might’ve started something! Last Wednesday, in honor of Brody’s big TV main event against MJF, we decided to drop our combined donation to MIRAC and let the world know about it!

And yes, between our comics and the shirts from Edgemen Printing, we were able to make a near 60K donation to the Minnesota Immigrant Rights Action Committee.

In Brody’s tweet announcing our total, he ended it with “F*CK ICE.” And well, before his match against MJF, the Las Vegas crowd had something to say about it.

So, given that this exploded, we had a lot of requests to reopen orders for the comics. So in honor of Brody’s big viral moment and his upcoming AEW Title match at Grand Slam Australia on Saturday vs MJF, we’re re-opening orders for our Tales from the Road collab with Brody King w/ the Daniel Warren Johnson cover for a limited time!

So. we’ll be taking orders for the comic (and the Mulipola cover as well) right up until Brody’s title match with MJF.

I really want to pop another good sized donation right before the single biggest match in Brody King’s career!

And we found a new charity to donate to.

Leo’s Towing has been towing/returning cars for families who’ve had members essentially ripped out of their cars and had the cars left on the street (sometimes they leave the cars running) And he’s been doing it for free.

We’d like to see Leo’s continue this work and at this point, its a full-time job. So all proceeds from this round are going to go to Leo to help him continue this vital function.

As for orders, they’re going to be coming soon. I am hoping to have all the non-metal, non-autographed stuff packed and shipped by the end of next week!

And if you’re in the Houston area this weekend, I’ll be making my first appearance in the market in more than a decade at Wrestleverse Fest. There’s a crazy lineup including a bunch of folks we’ve collaborated with like Jerry Lawler, Mick Foley, Danhausen, Booker T and so many more!

Thanks to Daniel Warren Johnson and Edgemen Printing for helping us make this thing pop but none of this happens without Brody King being brave enough to stand up and speak his mind publicly….especially when very few others will.

TFR: Brody King shipping update

They coming!

Just a quick update for those of you (and there were a lot of you) who ordered our Tales from the Road collab with Brody King and Daniel Warren Johnson.

Here’s the deal:

The books are currently being printed. Tomorrow night, I’ll be driving 15 hours to Nashville to grab the books from the printer and to appear at the Nashville Celebrity Con over the weekend.

In my off-hours, I’ll begin the process of packing books and then I’ll be driving 15 hours back home at which time I’ll start shipping.

100 copies will be diverted to Faerie Metal to have the metal covers produced. They should take about two weeks to get made.

Once I have the metals in my hand, I will connect with Brody for autos.

With all that in mind, the order that these books will be shipped in are as follows:

1. Anything unsigned and not metal. (starting Monday)

2. Unsigned metal (once they arrive)

3. Brody signed comics. (once we connect)

You will get an email from my Big Cartel account from whatever email you made the purchase from (that will include tracking) once a shipping label has been generated (and I don’t make them until the package is packed)

I appreciate everyone’s patience during this process. For those of you who don’t know my life… I’m one dude with a full con schedule, 7 projects in development, a full-time job (remote) that I do 7 days a week. And I literally have a thousand packages to pack and ship. I’ll have a little bit of help, but pretty much all of these packages will pass through my hands.

Brody, DWJ, Edgemen (shirt printer) and I will be making an announcement of the total charitable donation in the next day or two.

I’ll have a bit more to say after we make the donation but I sincerely want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for putting your hard-earned money towards something that should do a lot of good for a state and people that have stood so tall in the face of unprecedented challenges.

I’m going to be working towards some more charitable projects and partnerships in the future. So if you like dope fucking comics and helping folks…keep yo eyes peeled.

Time is running out to get yourself a copy of Daniel Warren Johnson’s epic Tales from the Road cover featuring Brody King in his iconic Abolish ICE look.

Orders close at midnight PST on Monday…so you got til the end of Sunday to get your orders in.

Guys, we’ll be dropping the Tales from the Road/DWJ cover tonight between 7PM - 8PM. I’ll be announcing the GO LIVE on substack first and then all my socials thereafter.

A couple of things I want to go over.

The colored chain variant and the metal cover are limited to 100 units. Due to the limitations of my big cartel store, I don’t have a way to limit the amount of an item that folks can order.

So I am asking you to limit those two items to no more than 2 per order. IF YOU ORDER MORE THAN 2, I WILL CANCEL YOUR ORDER. This applies to the colored chain and the metal variants only. Feel free to order multiples of the regular cover.

If you want the colored chain or the metal to be signed by Brody or myself, you’ll need to select an autograph add-on as a separate item.
