A re-imagining of DAVID'S LISTS on Facebook. I'll pass along lists of books to check out, especially the neglected/forgotten sort. And I'll be talking about my Insane Reading Project: Reading at least one book published in each year.
One of my favorite "book-Stacks," David lists books by year, theme, author, and others. The real value and entertainment can often be found in the footnotes. I love his offbeat and sometimes out of print recommendations. There's a lot for booklovers to love here in these lists!
Words. Words about words. Words about copyediting. The occasional cultural observation.
If you've read "Dreyer's English" (and if you haven't, WHY NOT?), then this will tickle your boat and float your fancy. Or something like that. BD's near-daily musings are enlightening, amusing, and may very well change the way you read and write for the better. So, don't live life in a comma, wake up and subscribe, full stop, period, exclamation point.
