I’ve been coding professionally since before Google was a search engine. From the early days of telecom to the high-pressure world of stock exchange gateways, I have built systems where "too slow" or "down" isn't an option.
I specialize in complex, transaction-intense applications. If it involves moving a lot of data quickly and safely, I’ve probably built a version of it.
- The Backbone: Expert-level C# and Java.
- The History: Deep tracks in Telecom, Banking, and Trading Systems (specifically Risk Management and Exchange Gateways).
- The Detour: 3 years of professional Android development.
- The Future: Currently adding React to my toolbelt and figuring out how to make AI do the boring parts of my job.
- Full Stack: Bridging the gap from backend architecture to React frontends.
- IoT: Leveraging my early electronics studies to build and program custom devices.
- AI: Exploring how to use LLMs effectively without losing the "art" of engineering or loosing my edge.
- Fixing things: I live in a house and we all know what that means, technology breaks down from time to time and mostly I try to fix it
- IoT: Leveraging my early electronics studies to build and program custom devices.
- Hydroponics: I like growing things in water. It’s like programming, but with more nutrients and less debugging.
- Outdoors: Fishing and fresh air, in a place witout cell phone coverage.
- The Real Bosses: I have three kids who still think I’m a "fun dad." I’m working hard to keep that rating high.
I love a good technical chat but "free time" is a myth (mostly spent late nights when I should have been sleeping). I’m always happy to connect, but I’m mostly here to keep my skills sharp and share what I’ve learned over the last few decades.
