@williammartin : I've expanded the tests to include multiple hosts with multiple accounts, with and without errors. Is there anything else you'd like to see as part of these changes before final review?

Ideally, I think the tests here would check that we're actually returning root.AuthError specifically but introduces an import cycle problem 🤔

I think AuthError is probably a domain level concept to the CLI and should live under the gh package but maybe that's too big a lift for this PR.
