Pathologic 3 (USD$34.99) by Ice-Pick Lodge
The Pathologic series is one dear to my heart and itβs wonderful to finally play the latest instalment in the series. Despite appearing to be a numbered sequel, this is a retelling of the story of Daniil Dankovsky, a doctor from the Capital attempting to further his research on death, plans that quickly get derailed by the advent of a plague. Part management and medical sim, part survival horror, all deeply narrative and philosophy-driven with an emphasis on fixing your past mistakes and transgressions. Pathologic 3 continues the seriesβ legacy with the same love and attention to detail that made the previous games so special.
